POLICY

All students voluntarily agree to participate in Taupo Academy of Dance activities.  

 

All students are responsible for their own belongings. Taupo Academy of Dance will not be liable for any loss or damages to any students property.  

 

Taupo Academy of Dance will not be held liable for injuries sustained by any student or attendee during participation of any kind at the Taupo Academy of Dance Studio or offsite premises. Taupo Academy of Dance will not be liable for proceedings, damages, costs, expenses, claims and demands instituted or made as a result of the student or attendee sustaining a loss or injury whilst participating in the activities at the Taupo Academy of Dance Studio (or outside premises i.e. Great Lake Centre rehearsal practices).  

 

All students are required to follow all instructions and rules of Taupo Academy of Dance at all times.  

 

Taupo Academy of Dance will not tolerate disruptive or disrespectful behaviour.  Anyone found to be violating rules, codes of conduct, or found to be disruptive or disrespectful to either another individual, group or teacher may be asked to leave the class or premises and may be refused return without refund; partial or full or term fee.  

 

Handbook:

A copy of the Taupo Academy of Dance Handbook with procedures and policies can be provided if required.  

 

Terms & Conditions of Fees:

- All class fees are incl GST and will incur a processing bank fee charge if paid via credit card

- Fees are due in full by invoice due date to avoid a late fee charge and removal of discount and to secure your position in requested classes

- If a trial class is required, one trial class is permitted. Any student trialling for more than the one week will be charged for lessons.

- No refunds will be given for any classes enrolled including for reasons such as change of mind, injuries, sickness, pandemics, national lockdowns.  

 

Photographic & Video Release:

- Parents/Legal Guardians and Students permit Taupo Academy of Dance to post and advertise (by photographs/video etc) the students participation in all Taupo Academy of Dance activities (and offsite competition/s) via social media (i.e. Facebook/Instagram) and website for no restricted time  

 

Choreography:

-All choreography remains property of Taupo Academy of Dance  

 

 

I the Parent/Legal Guardian:  

Understand and agree to the terms and conditions that Taupo Academy of Dance has implemented above.  

 

In case of emergency I permit Taupo Academy of Dance to seek and or provide medical assistance if and when necessary and I agree to cover if any medical costs are incurred.
